Navajo Sterling Silver Inlaid Cube Necklace

Jimmie King, Junior

Navajo silver and goldsmith Jimmy King, Jr. has been making jewelry for over 25 years. His unique style of heavy metal work and delicate inlay has gained him a reputation as a master jewelry. Every piece of Jimmie's jewelry is hand built and finished. Jimmy lives and works just off the northern edge of the Navajo reservation near Farmington, New Mexico. Well read and always taking time to learn new things, he listens to opera music as he creates his jewelry.

Jimmie is very well known for his inlaid cube necklaces that he makes from 14 karat gold and sterling silver. This cube is made of sterling silver and measures 5/16 inch in width by 5/8 inch in height. It is inlaid with coral, turquoise, lapis lazuli, and spiny oyster shell.
The pendant hangs a sterling silver chain that is 18 inches long.
